Craig Grace, Director
of Tift County EMS, began his career as a part time EMT
in November 1993. Craig received his Paramedic
certification from Darton
College in June 1994, and he began his
career as a full time Paramedic with
EMS. Craig served as a shift
Lieutenant before being promoted to Training Officer in
2002.
Craig attended ABAC where he
received his Associates of Science degree. He
obtained his Instructor credentials in Paramedic
Technology, EMT, Advanced Cardiac Life Support,
Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Trauma Life
Support, Pediatric Trauma Life Support, and Advanced
Medical Life Support. Craig recently served
as the American Heart Association Training Coordinator
for
Moultrie
Technical
College
and was the lead instructor for the Emergency Medical
Technology Program. Craig currently serves on
several State and Regional EMS Committees.
Craig was named the Southwest
Georgia Region 8 EMT of the Year in 2002 and Tift County
Paramedic of the Year in 2001.
Craig has lived in Tift
County
for 11 years with his wife Tracie. They have two
children, Tanner and Rylan Grace.
